Gustav Johansson gratuated from the prestigious Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm 2009 and in 2014 he co-founded new–land.
He has established himself as one of Scandinavia’s new generation of directors. He’s driven by creating the feeling you can’t really put your finger on by working with both visuals and sound. He makes sure to add his personal touch to capture and move the viewer.
He has worked worldwide with prestigious brands such as H&M, HBO, Levi’s, Volvo, Vogue, Lexus, IKEA and Nike. For his work he has been recognised at equally respected award shows such as Cannes Lions, Clios and D&AD as well as winning director of the year at the Swedish Roy gala and the Swedish Grammy for best music video.
