Based in London, but originally from Lancashire, director Libby Burke Wilde's work mixes music videos and striking commercials with cinematic and emotionally-driven documentaries and scripted drama. Motivated by the power of storytelling to drive social change, her work immerses her audience in new worlds and subcultures, and is often focused on translating human stories into engaging portraits and narratives that shine light on socially complex topics.

Her short film ABSENT, created in partnership with the charity Freedom4girls to address stigmas around period poverty, won Gold at Kinsale for ‘Best Short Film Under 5 Minutes’, and went on to win two Silver Screen Awards at 2020's Young Directors Awards, alongside a string of other accolades.

In her career so far Libby has worked with talent such as Arlo Parks, Lewis Capaldi, Hozier and Wolf Alice, among many other renowned artists. Recent commercial clients include Marshall, HP, Mutti, Jim Beam, and Ben’s Original.
