On a slow summer’s day, two siblings reconnect in the discovery of a forgotten ice cream van, Lola. A discovery which sparks a road trip through the hazy Cornish hills and a surprise guest star.
Exploring and foraging alike, the siblings handpick ingredients to experiment with ice cream flavours to make Pink Sky At Night. Pink grapefruit, marigold, blood orange make up the scents and flavours of Ffern’s latest summer fragrance, of which Bill Nighy is lucky enough to be first to taste.

Lyndy Stout, Chief Editor at 1.4:
Naghmeh Pour brings a rich cultural lens to her work, drawing on the visual poetry of Iranian cinema and a love of layered symbolism. This sun-dappled film is a postcard to British Summer.
